Streets of megalopolises, small towns and villages are full of different cars, however nowadays there are almost no really “old” vehicles. And if you like the true vintage automobiles, don’t miss a chance to see a unique parade that will take place in Paris on the 12th of January. This year organizers of the event under the name of Traversee de Paris promise to gather more than six hundred rare motorbikes, buses, tractors, moto-carriages and cars.
The parade will start at 8-00 am from the Bois de Vincennes, located in the south-eastern outskirts of Paris, and will go via Montmartre, Champs-Elysees, Place Vendome, Place de la Concorde, Grand Palais and Les Invalides. You can also follow this interesting procession by a special bus. The ticket price is just 5 Euro.
Since the City Hall of Paris has a plan to forbid using cars over 17 years old inside the city, Traversee de Paris 2014 may be the last parade of this scale. Thus, if you are a real lover of retro-cars you just have no right to miss it.
Have a nice time!
