Have you planned a trip to Paris in the second half of September and want to spend a vacation vividly and cheerfully? If so, we advise to visit events of the annual Emperor holiday (September 20th-21st) in a town of Rueil-Malmaison located only 14 kilometers to the west of Paris.
The Emperor holiday is a very colorful festival dedicated to Napoleon and his wife Josephine. The venue is chosen not accidentally, since Chateau de Malmaison was the residence of the Empress.
Traditionally, the festival Rueil-Malmaison will be divided into three parts: Bonaparte zone (a big fair, a lot of various refreshments, live music), Josephine zone (Chateau de Malmaison and its adjacent territory where you’ll find bright dancing performances and master-classes), and Austerlitz zone (reconstitution of Napoleon’s camp and the military parade).
The Emperor festival is absolutely free, and an ocean of pleasure is guaranteed!
Have a nice time! 🙂
