Very soon children will have possibility to enjoy (for free) carousels with wooden horses in all Paris districts, excepting the 1st and the second. About twenty amusements will be opened in the city on the 22 of December and continue to work daily from 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. until the 1st of January.
In the 3rd arrondissement you should seek carousels at Square du Temple.
In the 4th district of Paris – at the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville. One amusement will be installed from the side of Rue de Rivoli, the second one – from the side of the Seine.
5th district – Square Saint Médard.
6th district – Place Saint Sulpice.
7th district – Place Joffre.
In the 8th arrondissement the first amusement will be situated at the Place de la Madeleine, the second – at the Place de la Concorde next to the Ferris wheel.
9th district – Place Lino Ventura.
10th district – Square Bonsergent.
11th district – Square Père Chaillet.
12th district – 130, avenue Daumesnil.
13th district – Place d’Italie.
14th district – Rue Didot and Rue Jacquier crossing.
15th district – Place Raoul Dautry.

For those children who are not interested in carousels already there is a huge ferris wheel La Grande Roue, which will work at the Place de la Concorde on November, 16 – February, 17 daily from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. Visit La Grande Roue when illumination of the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysee will be switched on. Two hundred chestnut trees of one the most beautiful avenues in the world will be turn into 7-meter sparkling garlands on November, 21 at 06:30 p.m..
Illumination of the Champs Elysees will gladden Parisians and visitors of the city until the 11th of January, 2013.
