Another good news from Paris that has to gladden tourists coming to the city on the Seine. The famous 62-meters Saint-Jacques Tower (Tour Saint-Jacques) opens its doors.Usually, this architectural monument is not available for visitors, but this year all-comers have the opportunity to learn its history and admire panoramic views of Paris.
Tour Saint-Jacques was built in the 16th century. The path to its top has 300 footsteps and the walls are adorned with thousands of patterns and numerous statues.
The tower is located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris at the same name Square de la Tour Saint-Jacques.
You can visit the Saint-Jacques Tower until October 29, a ticket’s price – 10 Euros.
