Beach on the Seine has opened

Well, let’s smile, jump and clap your hands! 🙂 Finally, a true beach season has come to Paris, in spite of that it’s hot in the city for for a long time. If you want to come to the French capital in the short run, so you can spend your time on a beach besides visiting museums and other “classic” pastime.

Real sandy beaches will be opened in Paris to the 18th of August. One of them (its length – 3,5 km) is on a bank of the Seine between two bridges – Pont de Sully and Pont Neuf. The second beach is situated on the lake Bassin de la Villette. Also a special ground for beach entertainments and dance parties was equipped at the Place de Greve – right opposite the Paris City Hall (Hotel de Ville).

Usually Paris is not associated with such a kind of recreation, but within the next 4 weeks, the word “beach” comes into use of locals and guests of the city. All in all, “Paris, museums, cabarets, Eiffel Tower, the Seine, beach…” – have fun! 😉

And, of course, a rousing video from the Seine!
