Cash payments’ cutback in France

Some time ago the minister of finance of France announced the government’s plans to cut cash payments in the country, and from September, 2015 this initiative will come into force.

Relevant enactment was made by the French government, and according to it, the maximum amount of a cash payment for goods and services is 1,000 Euros. All payments over this sum have to be realized with a cashless way exclusively.

This way, if you’ve planned your trip to France after the summer time and gonna effect expensive purchases there is no any sense to bring big sums of cash, just use the banking cards. 🙂

And since it’s summer outside, have a bright sun!
