Do you think that Oktoberfest is Munich and Germany only? You have another guess coming! People like beer everywhere! 🙂 And even if France is historically associated with delicious wine, the frothy drink has its admirers in all corners of the country too.
And if German Oktoberfest 2017 has almost gone to history, beer connoisseurs in France are preparing for the occasion. In Paris, the event will be held from the 5th to the 14th of October.
This event, of course, is not so popular as Bastille Day or another traditional French holidays but, none the less, it has the own admirers. For example, Oktoberfest 2015 in Paris was visited by 10 thousand people, in 2016 – it was already 12 thousand guests. Quite likely, the record will be broken this year.
Traditionally, the festival’s organizers recreate a true Bavarian atmosphere with original pavilions, tables and long benches, and all the guest feel like in Germany. A goblet of tasty beer will cost 6.9 Euro, and an entrance ticket – 35 Euro.
Paris Oktoberfest 2017 will take place at the event-centre in the 19th arrondissement: 20 Avenue de la Porte de la Villette.
And, if by any reason you will miss the fest, so go to Marseilles, where the local festival of beer is planned for October 26 – November 4.
