Parisian Museum of Luxembourg (Musee du Luxembourg) invites all connoisseurs of the real art to visit the exhibition of a legendary native of Belarusian city of Vitsebsk by Marc Chagall. This exposition under the name of «Between War and Peace» was opened on February, 21. And it will last until July, 22.
Guests of the Museum can see works of the great master, dated to the period from 1914 to 1934. Organizers offer drawings, paintings and engravings which show all aspects of the artist’s life: persecution, expatriation, gravity of the war. However, works of Marc Chagall also show inspiring sides of life in hard time like happiness, love, peace. This way he tried to keep belief in the future in himself and to remain an optimist.
