No matter how old you are, but if you read these lines, you definitely know what a book is. Dumas, Twain, Remarque, Pushkin… and hundreds of thousands of other writers and poets created and will create their works for us in the future.
And today, April 23rd, the International Book Day (the World Book and Copyright Day) is celebrated. This day was selected not occasionally. Such famous writers as William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes left our world this day in different years.
Even if a book is not a part of your everyday life any more, and it was replaced by one or another digital gadget, let’s say our low “thanks” to all those people (poets, writers, scientists, publishers and others connected with this activity) who introduce knowledge, culture, kindness and many other important things in our life!
Thank you a lot! Thank you Books!
