Picasso Museum re-opens in Paris

The Picasso Museum will open again its doors to visitors after five years of reconstruction works.This long awaited event is scheduled for June 2014.

During the reconstruction the XVII century building was completely restored, the exhibition space expanded. Offices were moved from the museum building to neighboring buildings. On the ground floor a new cafe has appeared and now starving visitors may eat right at the museum.

The Picasso Museum in Paris offers visitors the most extensive collection of works of the great artist. Getting back to the past, the museum was opened in 1985. Since then, in the collection more than 200 paintings, 1500 drawings, 150 sculptures and objects that belonged to Picasso were gathered.
