Do not be surprized, if walking through administrative premises and shops in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport you will find yourself suddenly at the real exhibition. Initiative on opening an exhibition hall at such unexpected place belongs to the Association of Paris airports (ADP\Aéroports de Paris).
This idea has been already tested on practice – firstly the decision to demonstrate museum expositions to passengers of airlines and people, coming to welcome, just at a registration counter was made by Dutchmen. At the Schiphol airport in Amsterdam you can see works of art, came there temporarily from the National Museum of Netherland – Rijksmuseum.
The first exhibition at L’aéroport de Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle covers the work of a great artist – famous French sculptor Rodin. Being here, everyone may see, for example, his legendary sculpture “The Kiss” (Le Baiser) just being left a boarding bridge. All the exposition has about 50 works by Rodin.
The exhibition will last until the end of May, 2013. After that its place will be occupied with works of other artists. It’s still unknown who will be selected for the next exhibitions, boss of ADP and other representatives of the organization continue to keep an intrigue. They inform only that every exposition will be shaped from the funds of the biggest Paris museums.
It’s planned, the same exhibitions will be organized at other airports of the French capital – L’aéroport de Paris-Orly is the next one.
