Unfortunately, we will not see a continuation of the worldwide popular TV series “House M.D.” – the final episode will be released in May. However, there are welcome news – fans can see the charming “doctor-misanthrope” live. In July 2012 the central character of the TV series “House M.D.” will arrive to Paris.
Hugh Laurie, better known as Dr. House, opens himself from a new side – as a blues performer. His debut album «Let them talk» was released in March 2011, and only in France over 100,000 copies had been sold.
“Music has always been a great consolation for me. Movie play for me is a putting the mask, and the music – an attempt to tear it off, exposing myself,”- Hugh Laurie says.
By the way, the actor (and the singer now) especially visited the cradle of blues – New Orleans – to record a part of his songs. His record conveys beautifully the atmosphere of the city, shedding, according to Hugh Laurie, “music, romance, joy and despair”.
It is curious that the Parisian performance of “Dr. House” will take place in the biggest cinema in Europe Grand Rex, located in the heart of Paris with a capacity of 2650 spectators. Traditionally, this hall organizes not only films, but and the performances of music stars.
The concert will take place on July 10, 2012 at 20.00. Tickets’ price will be announced later. The cinema is located at 1, Boulevard Poissonnière, Paris (map). The nearest metro station – Bonne Nouvelle. The official site of Grand Rex – www.legrandrex.com.
