Depeche Mode will play Blues in Paris

British music band Depeche Mode loves the French capital, what we can see even in the title of one of their concert video albums – “One Night in Paris”. And exactly Paris has organized the press-conference timed to a coming world tour of Depeche Mode which supports the new album, awaiting by the fans since the autumn 2011.

And now the musicians are coming back to Paris (they had visited it in 2009 last time). Beginning from the 7th of May, the band plans to give 34 concerts in 25 European countries, including France, where Depeche Mode will arrive to in June.

By the way, the band is preparing one of the biggest and brightest show of the tour – the concert will be held at Stade de France – this arena is able to seat 70 thousand fans of Depeche Mode.

The new album of DM was out on March 22th, 2013 and got the name “Delta Machine”. The first word refers the band’s fans to an earliest style of Blues (delta-blues). Members of Depeche Mode underline that this music direction had an influence on their sound since 1989. “We just made it more obvious now due to the title,” – the musicians said.

The second word of the name of the 13th studio album confirms the British band are still the followers of electric sound.

Paris performance will take place on the 15th of June, and the tickets are on sale already. The cheapest one is 45 Euro.
